I think both Mr. Moore and Dr. Mercola have struck upon something that should move us (citizens of the USA) to action – that medicine is no longer about health… it’s about $$ and greed – lots of $$ and lots of greed – and the US death rate is climbing because of it. The solution is to do what we did with firefighters and police forces over a century ago – which did not stop greed and corruption, but it sure did put a big damper on it.

Please check out H. R. 676, the United States National Health Insurance Act – http://www.house.gov/conyers/news_hr676_2.htm. I wrote my own representative to support it – she refused – referring instead to State-run insurance, which covers the poorest 10% of the population – and then only partially. She probably gets a large percentage of her campaign funding from the very industry HR 676 would replace – maybe it’s time to replace her…

This is an important issue for us all. The health insurance industry in the US is set up to DENY claims and NOT pay – especially for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) – even if it means the life of the patient. And the number of persons turned away from critical medical attention due to a lack of health insurance is just plain unacceptable – and criminal in my opinion.
