Success and Failure

What if you could be guaranteed of success at ANYTHING you did? What would you do differently?

First, let’s take a moment to consider the relationship between success and failure.

You are always successful at everything you actually DO. AND – you are always successful in NOT doing what you don’t do.

You are ALWAYS succeeding at something.

What you do may not match your desire. And, your environment may give you the impression that you have failed at something. Yet, because you have actually DONE SOMETHING, you have succeeded in doing that something, whatever it is. Likewise, for those things you do not do, you have succeeded in not doing them.

Because your actions always bring about successful outcomes, intent and desire become all the more important – because you tend to focus your creative action in the direction of your true intent – and get outcomes associated with it – rather than on your desire no matter how strong your desire may be.

Problems can arise because we often don’t know our true intent. We think we do, though, and that poses a specific problem – one we call failure. Desire is based on what we think is our true intention – and because we believe we know our mind, we marshal inordinate emotional energy to desire rather than surrendering to true intent.
Failures are outcomes based on what we think is our true intent.

Failure is outcome based on what we think is our true intent.

HOW you perceive the results of your actions can lead you to better understand and use your true intentions.

If you are seated, you are not standing. One could say that you succeeded in sitting while you failed to stand. However, in the very next moment, you could reverse that and find that you succeeded in standing and therefore have failed at sitting (because you are no longer seated while you are standing).

Actually, though, you have succeeded at sitting AND standing – just at different times. AND, you have succeeded in NOT sitting while standing and NOT standing while sitting.

Maybe it’s more about what you choose to view as success that makes the difference – because you are always – ALWAYS – succeeding at something – in every instance.

It seems to me that it is impossible to fail. EVERYTHING you have done in your life you have successfully done – otherwise you would have succeeded in not doing it – or succeeded in doing something else. IT’S ALL IN HOW YOU PERCEIVE YOUR SUCCESS.

Is the cup half empty or half full? Answer – neither and both! The cup is completely full with SOMETHING – air and liquid… and completely empty of everything ELSE.

Always succeeding at whatever I do… and don’t do…
